Alf Rai, Director
Alf has been with Harlequin since they first formed in 2006 and after many years on stage turned his hand to directing for the 10th Anniversary production of “Cinderella”. Alf is directing again this year and once again has enjoyed working with a tremendously talented cast and crew.
Alf’s also a member of other local Amateur Dramatic Companies and recent roles include: Ezekiel Forster (White Christmas), Mr Bumble (Oliver), Heavenly Friend (Carousel), Cowardly Lion (Wizard of Oz), Jesus (Godspell), Apostle (Jesus Christ Superstar), Pirate King (Pirates of Penzance), Luther Billis (South Pacific), Ali Hakim (Oklahoma), Melvin P Thorne (Best Little Whore House In Texas) and Nicely Nicely Johnson (Guys and Dolls).

Tim Harding, Musical Director
Tim is a freelance Musical Director, Vocal Coach and Arranger based in the Black Country. Over recent years he was worked with many West Midlands Societies including Wolverhampton Musical Comedy Company, Knowle Operatic Society, Tudor Musical Comedy Company and Trinity Players, who’s production of Hairspray in 2015 recently won the NODA regional award for Best Musical.
Tim has been musical director for Harlequin Pantomime Productions for the past 7 years, and is also currently MD for West Bromwich Operatic Society and WBOS Youth Theatre.
Trained at Durham University and The Welsh College of Music and Drama, Tim has taught singing for GSA, Guildford, and Birmingham Theatre School. He currently teaches musical theatre and classical students at Wolverhampton University, as well has having a private teaching practice. In recent years Tim’s vocal students have gone on to attend London Studio Centre, Arts Educational School, Mountview Academy and The Royal Northern College of Music, as well as taking leading leading roles with societies across the West Midlands and beyond. Lisa Farmer Dance Choreographer
Lisa has been dancing at the Helen Richards School of Dance since the age of six, where she gained her teaching qualifications and experience in choreography under the inspirational guidance of Helen Richards. As a member of South Staffs Musical Theatre Company she has performed in numerous musicals and review shows, the most recent being Working 9 to 5 last year. She has also been in shows with Rainbow Pantomime, Click Productions, and Strawberry Girl Productions.
This is Lisa’s fifth year with Harlequin and she is very excited to once again be given the opportunity to be their Company choreographer. Working with such a dedicated and talented group has been extremely rewarding.
